Landinfra is investigating the possibility of building a solar park just outside Frödinge in Vimmerby municipality. The park is planned to have an area of up to 30 hectares on the property; Vimmerby Frödinge 1:1. If built, the solar park could have a total installed capacity of around 21 MW, with an annual electricity production of approximately 22 GWh.

During autumn 2024, Landinfra met the officials at Vimmerby municipality and the county board in Kalmar county for an consultation, thereby initiating the consultation process for the project.
