Eriksbråtberget wind project

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Landinfra is investigating the possibilities of establishing a wind farm in Arvika municipality – in an area located southeast of the community of Treskog. The project is run in collaboration with landowner Stora Enso.

We are early in the process and are now working on the design of the wind farm. The area we are looking at has the potential for about ten wind turbines.

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE PROJECT

Information meetings for residents in the vicinity of the area were held at the end of May this year. These meetings aimed to provide early information about the project as well as to answer questions and gather feedback.

During the spring and summer of 2024, an inventory of birds and bats will be conducted. The results of these inventories are likely to impact the planned expansion and location of the wind turbines. Several studies are still ongoing, and Landinfra plans to invite the public to a consultation once we have a clearer picture of the final design of the wind farm.
