Fagerhult wind project

About the project

Landinfra Energy is exploring the possibility of establishing a wind farm near Fagerhult in Högsby Municipality. The goal is to build up to 4 turbines in the area, which, if constructed, could produce up to 150 GWh of renewable electricity annually.

What happens in the project

In mid-June, Landinfra held a public consultation at Fagerhult’s parish hall, where photo montages were displayed, and sound demonstrations were conducted.

Simultaneously, consultations are ongoing with various organizations, authorities, and interest groups. In addition to these consultations, Landinfra is conducting thorough inventories of the area’s nature and wildlife. The plan is to compile a consultation report and an environmental impact assessment during the autumn and winter of 2024 to apply for an environmental permit for the wind farm.
