Landinfra is planning to establish a solar park outside Målilla, south of Emån near the racetrack, in Hultsfred Municipality.
The solar park is planned to cover an area of up to 60 hectares on the property Hultsfred Kvillerum 1:1.
The planned installed capacity of the solar park is approximately 50 MW, with an annual electricity production of around 50 GWh. This corresponds to household electricity for about 10,000 homes.

Landinfra has conducted a delimitation consultation with the County Administrative Board during 2024, as well as consultations with authorities, the public, and individually affected parties. Received statements will be addressed in the upcoming permit application.

In 2024, Landinfra also carried out and initiated several surveys and studies concerning nature and wildlife, which will form the basis of the project’s environmental impact assessment.

The permit application for the project, along with accompanying investigations, a consultation report, and an environmental impact assessment, is expected to be submitted during the first half of 2025.
