ÖSSJÖ SOLAR PROJECT

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Landinfra is exploring the possibility of building a solar park near the village of Össjö, which is located about seven kilometers southeast of Ljungby. The park is planned to cover an area of up to 121 hectares on part of the property Ljungby Össjö 7:7.
If the park is constructed, it could have a total installed capacity of approximately 100 MW and produce fossil-free electricity for around 50 years.

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE PROJECT

In August 2024, Landinfra will meet with officials from Ljungby Municipality and the County Administrative Board of Kronoberg for a consultation. In connection with this, Landinfra will invite other authorities, individuals, and the public to a scoping consultation via advertisement and mail.
