Landinfra is exploring the possibility of establishing a wind farm in the municipality of Eda – in an area east of Häljeboda. The project is being carried out in collaboration with the landowner Stora Enso.

Two informational meetings with local residents were held in late May 2024 to provide early information about the project plans as well as to answer questions and gather feedback.

Throughout 2024, several surveys and assessments were conducted, including studies on the natural environment, wildlife, and cultural heritage. As a result, multiple alternative project designs featuring 12–15 wind turbines were developed.

During the autumn of 2024, formal consultations were held with the public in both Norway and Sweden, as well as with authorities and organizations.

During the spring and summer of 2025, additional surveys of various bird species are planned. Following this, the environmental impact assessment will be finalized and submitted along with a permit application to the County Administrative Board.
