Landinfra is investigating the possibilities of establishing a wind farm in the municipality of Eda – in an area northeast of Häljeboda, Sweden. The project is run in collaboration with the landowner Stora Enso. We are early in the process and are working on the design of the wind farm.

Information meetings for residents in the vicinity of the area were held at the end of May this year. These meetings aimed to provide early information about the project as well as to answer questions and gather feedback.

During the spring and summer of 2024, an inventory of birds and bats were conducted. The results from these limit the buildable area of the project, preventing any wind turbines from being built north of road 864. Landinfra will hold consultations with the public in both Norway and Sweden during the second week of November.
