Torsås solar project

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Landinfra is planning to build a solar park just south of the town of Torsås in Torsås Municipality. The project area is expected to cover approximately 20 hectares, spread across three properties: Torsås 9:1, 12:1, and 18:1. If the park is built, it could have a total installed capacity of around 20 MW and produce fossil-free electricity for approximately 40 years.

PROJECT UPDATES

In February 2025, a application for an environmental permit was submitted to the County Administrative Board of Kalmar. Local residents and other stakeholders are responsible for keeping track of the County Administrative Board’s public announcement regarding the application.

During the second quarter of 2025, E.ON will investigate the possibilities of connecting the solar park to the power grid, while detailed planning of the park is ongoing.
